I took this class fall quarter of 1996 and had a good time. It was a
hard class, some of the concepts were tricky but mostly the difficulty was
in the amount of detailed information we had to remember for the tests.
Labs were cool though, my group ran the Heidelburg MO Press which is
a single color small format press similar to the one pictured below which
is the S Press.
Later I took Litho Press Problems which is the advanced class for the
one mentioned above. We got to use a Sakuri 2-color convertible perfecting
press, and a 6-color Heidelburg Speedmaster 74 similar to the one pictured
below. The difference automation makes on the more advanced presses we are
running now is amazing.
